All potential members should wear solid black, form-fitted dance wear or active wear to show off the body lines, ankles, and feet for evaluation by the staff.
You should plan to bring water, money for lunch (or your own lunch), and weapons (if you plan to audition for a weapon spot). Some flags will be provided, but plan on bringing your own to ensure that every person auditioning has something to spin.
The audition is an opportunity for staff to evaluate your technique, talent, personality, and potential. You will be introduced to our our equipment technique and movement style in addition to learning choreography. The RG staff does not expect every person auditioning to execute these at a WGi finalist level yet. We understand that our potential members come from a variety of performance backgrounds and teaching styles. We simply ask that you achieve the audition materials at your best level. There will be plenty of time in the season to get everybody on the same level of achievement.
Redemption Guard prides itself in allowing performers to audition free of charge. With the continually rising cost of living, we want to make sure money is not an obstacle when it comes to finding your new home for performance.
At this time, membership dues for the upcoming season have not been announced. Continue to check back for more information as it's released.
