Nick Hughey

Since 2018, Nick Hughey has been a vital part of growing Redemption Guardwith his immense network in the Houston area.

​

For the past six years, he has taught at for a number of scholastic and independent groups, including Friendswood HS, Dawson HS, Pearland HS, Klein Oak HS, and Manvel HS, and Redemption Independent Winterguard.

Nick’s marching career includes the following: Friendswood High School 2010-2014, Troopers 2012, Seattle Cascades 2013,15-18. Nick was Horn Sergeant in 2017 and helped direct the leadership team. 

In 2019 Nick had the opportunity to be part of the Phantom Regiment Administration team. Which is still on hoping for the return of DCI in 2020!

Over the years Nick has had many mentors including Sal Salas, Nick Benson, Rick Valenzuela, David Warren, Stephanie Chavez,Kyle Thompson, Aaron Brown, Ron Barnett, Mike Acosta, and Greg Dick.

Nick’s goal is to help you create a successful and safe program all around. He will be with you every step of the way!
